Valentino Rossi won the MotoGP success of San Marino. The drivers from this Yamaha team mate and beat his rival, Jorge Lorenzo, who finish in second position.

In the race in Misano Circuit, Sunday (5/9/2008) , Rossi took pole position for which indirectly could lead the race because Dani Pedrosa has raced ahead since the start.


After stalking for some time Pedrosa, Rossi eventually took over the leadership race from Pedrosa's hand on the seventh lap. And since then she successfully defended his position.

Already passed Rossi, Pedrosa finally had to accept also passed Lorenzo on lap 13. The position of any one or two survive to be owned two Yamaha until the end of the race.
